STEM-based summer programs are a hit in the Tri-City area, among parents and kids alike. Sylvan Learning has seen correlating interest in its STEM programs franchise-wide, and plans to channel this during its summer program locally.
"Parents see it as enhancing school year retention," Sylvan Learning Assistant Director, Michelle Lien told the Tri-City Herald.
Sylvan Learning will begin a new session of its STEM summer program on August 1 at the new Southridge area location.
